Sickle Cell Anemia Patients in Wayand- health inequities (2021-22)

Health inequities experienced by the Sickle Cell Anaemia patients in Wayanad were analysed using a participatory research method. Intersectionality in health-related quality of life was found based on stratifiers such as community, gender, financial status, and income. Disease profile, quality of life, and services received from various government/non-governmental organisations were analysed among both tribal and non-tribal patients.
