The project is sanctioned under ‘PM-USHA’ to the University of Kerala and is implemented collaboratively with the involvement of various departments at the University. The project run under ‘PMUSHA- Soft components’ is coordinated by Dr. Manju S. Nair (Hon. Director, CAPH), and Dr. Sheeja S.R. (Professor and Head, Department of Economics), Dr. Sandhya R.S. (Professor and Head, Department of Sociology), Dr. M.S. Jayakumar (Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology) act as Co-principal investigators. It encompasses a prestigious action research program that aims to implement social interventions in the tribal hamlets of Trivandrum and Wayanad. Activities include,
